Reports have surfaced that pro Fortnite player, streamer, and FaZe Clan member known as Patrick, or “H1ghSky1,” is allegedly only twelve years old, violating the Twitch terms of service. Because Twitch users must be over the age of thirteen, his account has been suspended, though this has yet to be confirmed as the cause. The age of H1ghSky1 was brought to light due to another member of FaZe Clan, Turner “Tfue” Tenney, suing the organization based on allegations that the contract he signed with FaZe was illegal.
According to the lawsuit, “It is also widely publicized that Faze Clan has recently signed an eleven year old gamer/artist. Upon information and belief, Faze Clan has not only lied about the minor’s age, but has also pressured the minor and his family to do so. Such conduct by Faze Clan was in violation of Labor Code § 1700.36.” H1ghSky1 was signed by FaZe in March of this year, as announced on the FaZe Clan Twitter page.

According to Kotaku, Epic has yet to take action concerning the age of H1ghSky1, but did provide them with a statement. “We have a dedicated team that actively monitors competitive integrity. If a player has been determined to compromise competitive integrity, we will make adjustments to the standings and placements as needed.”
Currently, H1ghSky1’s Twitch page is unavailable, most likely due to the age allegations, though Twitch has yet to make any public comments or confirmations, according to Upcomer. H1ghSky1’s Twitter page, however, is still up and operational. If the allegations are true, he is also in violation of their terms of service as well, which also requires users to be over the age of thirteen. FaZe Clan, Twitch, and H1ghSky1 have also yet to make public comments.
