Nintendo has released a new trailer for Princess Peach: Showtime, showing off two new costumes and giving new looks at the four previously revealed ones.
The trailer, which was posted on Nintendo’s Twitter account, reveals Ninja Peach and Cowgirl Peach, each of which provides the character with new abilities.
She can disappear into the shadows or wrangle up enemies…

The Ninja Peach costume equips Peach with dual Sai and allows her to perform stealth attacks and wall jumps to reach higher areas. The Cowgirl Peach costume gives her a lasso and a horse, which allows her to grab enemies from a distance. The trailer shows her chasing down an enemy on horseback, leaping over gaps created in a bridge. She also catches a bottle of something that is surely not alcoholic in her intro.
The trailer also provides a look at sword combat and an aerial dodge with Swordfighter Peach, tracking footprints and speaking to witnesses as Detective Peach, baking and decorating pastries as Patissiere Peach, and movement-based combat as Kung Fu Peach. Showtime appears to blend many different gameplay styles, with combat, puzzle-solving, platforming, and minigames all making appearances in the trailer.
Nintendo also revealed a set of pastel pink Joy-Con controllers to release alongside the game, which will be made available for a limited time on the My Nintendo store and select retailers. This is a big step for Peach, as Joy-Cons themed around the Mario series were previously reserved for the man himself.
