Possible Delay In Destiny 2 release

It has yet to be announced and the sequel to Bungie’s successful Destiny has already run into some trouble in the form of a delay.

The release, while not confirmed, was originally heading towards a September 2016 release, but this seems to no longer be the case. In a report by Kotaku, initial plans for a sequel are constantly shifting. The planned sequel has had movement in terms of development with the sequel with help from High Moon Studios since back in May of 2015.

Original plans between Bungie and Activision called for a the release of new disc-based sequels every other year between now and 2019 with game expansions, like the Taken King, to be released in between.

No word on an exact released date for the planned sequel, but an announcement could be made soon.
