Pokémon TCG Pocket Marches Forward With the New Fantastical Parade Expansion

Pokémon TCG Pocket is welcoming a brand-new expansion with Fantastical Parade, set to launch on January 28. The update brings a colorful theme and a wave of new cards designed to expand both the visual style and gameplay depth of the digital card game. With parade-inspired artwork and several notable Pokémon making their debut, the expansion aims to keep both collectors and battlers engaged as the new year begins.

According to the Official Pokemon Website, one of the main highlights of Fantastical Parade is its new booster packs, which feature Mega Gardevoir ex as the cover Pokémon. The expansion also adds other powerful cards such as Mega Mawile ex, along with Teal Mask Ogerpon ex, marking Ogerpon’s first appearance in Pokémon TCG Pocket. These cards are presented with bright, festive illustrations that reflect the expansion’s celebratory theme while introducing new options for deck building.

The update also introduces Stadium cards to Pokémon TCG Pocket for the first time. This new type of Trainer card affects both players during a match, adding another strategic layer to battles. Stadium cards can change how games unfold by creating shared conditions on the field, encouraging players to think more carefully about timing and overall strategy.

Alongside new cards, Fantastical Parade brings several quality-of-life improvements. Trading will now include preset message options, making it easier for players to communicate what types of cards they are looking for, including alternate language versions. A new random battle mode is also being added, allowing players to jump into solo battles without knowing their opponent’s deck beforehand, creating a more unpredictable and exciting experience.

To round out the launch, special card covers themed around Mega Gardevoir will become available shortly after the expansion goes live. Altogether, Fantastical Parade adds meaningful content to Pokémon TCG Pocket through new Pokémon, fresh mechanics, and improved social features, making it a strong update for players looking to collect, trade, and battle in new ways.
