After yesterday’s leak of the Pokémon Sun and Moon logos everyone was pretty sure Nintendo was going to announce a new game, but whether it was going to be Sun and Moon or a third entry into the sixth generation of the franchise was still anybody’s guess. Now we have an answer.
During the brief Nintendo Direct conference it was announced that the seventh generation of Pokémon would kick off this holiday season. While Nintendo was tight lipped on the details on our upcoming adventure into the Pokémon world we were given a look at some concept art.
Here we can see some a Poké-Center ambulance and other pick-up trucks.
Next is what looks like another redesign for the Poké-Center.
It looks like we will be going to a pretty swanky hotel while we explore the unknown region.
A hint at a new bird Pokémon we can add to our team.
Sun and Moon will also be the first Pokémon game to release in Chinese, both simplified and traditional, bringing the total number of languages Pokémon will support up to nine.
You can check out the whole conference below.
Along with Sun and Moon, Nintendo also announced Pokémon Bank support for Pokémon Red, Blue and Yellow when they release onto the eShop tomorrow.
