As the Pokemon Go Community Day vote has come to an end, the fans have revealed which Pokemon they want to see for September. Coming in the first place is the digital Pokemon Porygon, which will be featured in September’s community Day (which is set to take place on Sunday, September 2oth). Coming in second place was the fire Pokemon Charmander, who will be featured in October’s Community Day (on the 17th) for the second time.

The poll went live on the official Pokemon Go Twitter account on the twenty-second and ended twenty-four hours after its initial posting. At the end of the original Tweet, Niantic told those who voted that whoever received the most votes would be featured in the month of September while the runner up would be featured in October.
Niantic having a poll for the upcoming Community Days gave players the chance to interact with the account (and each other) as they rallied together and advocated for their favorite choice out of the four. As a way to help voters narrow down their choices, Niantic also revealed the event-exclusive moves that each choice would learn if players were able to evolve them into their final forms. From the four choices (Caterpie, Charmander, Grimer, and Porygon), the respected moves that each could learn were Hurricane, Dragon Breath, Fire Punch, and Tri Attack.

Even though the featured Pokemon, dates, and exclusive moves have already been revealed, that is all players know about the upcoming Community Days. More information is set to be released closer to the date it gets. For those that were not able to take part in the poll, August events (and Research Tasks) are still taking place in Pokemon Go at the time of this writing (including the legendary Pokemon Heatran, which is set to be available up until September 10th).
