Pokémon Go has been dealing with a lot of events and updates during the past few months. With events like Pokémon Go community week throughout the summer being an exciting concept for many fans to enjoy by gaining items and free points. But this time the popular Pokémon Go game will be part of Paris Fashion Week and will be offering players some new fashionable items for their trainers and Pokémons.

Based on the Pokémon Go website they stated that “In celebration of the exciting accessories coming out of the collaboration between The Pokémon Company and Longchamp Paris, as well as the beginning of Paris Fashion Week, we’re proud to announce that a new avatar backpack accessory item will be available in Pokémon GO. That’s not all – some fashionable Pokémon will be appearing in the wild, challenging Trainers in raids, and hatching from Eggs, too!”
With Fashion Week coming to the Pokémon Go game, fans should expect a lot of features coming their way. Fans should look out for Special Pokémon wearing costumes appearing during the event. Smoochum that hatch from 7 km Eggs during this time will appear wearing a bow. Kairlia and Shinx will be wearing a top hat which will appear in the raid, they’ll also know the move Draining Kiss. Croagunk wearing a backward cap will be appearing in GO Snapshot as a surprise encounter who will rarely appear in the wild.
Pokémon that will be appearing in the wild are Mareep, Skitty, Roselia, Kricketot, Blitzle, Cottonee, Minccino, Gothita, and many more. If fans are lucky, they may encounter a Shiny Kricketot. Players can enjoy exclusive Field Research for the duration of the event. Also, players will be able to dress up for fashion week in person and in the game. Players will have to head to the shop for a free Longchamp avatar item in Pokémon GO. Which then, players will match with their Trainer avatar by picking up the same Longchamp item in the stores.
Fans will be excited to be part of this year’s Paris Fashion Week and players being ready for them and their Pokémon to show the world their style. Pokémon Go Paris Fashion Week starts Friday, October 2, 2020, at 8:00 a.m. to Thursday, October 8, 2020, at 10:00 p.m.
