Pokémon GO is Having Their Mega September Event

Lately, Pokémon GO has been releasing some very entertaining gameplay for fans to enjoy and experience with when it comes to getting all the Pokémon. Now Pokémon GO has released their newest update for Mega Evolve for fans Pokémon and the Mega September event happening this month. Throughout the month of September, there will be three weeks of Mega-Evolution themed events for players to enjoy.

For the first week which will start on Tuesday, September 1 at 8:00 a.m. to Monday, September 7 at 10:00 p.m., players will need to complete as many Mega Raids as they can. Fans will have to gather Mega Energy to Mega Evolve their Pokémon and takedown Raid Bosses. Players will be eligible to win two million Mega Raid before the event ends globally; fans will unlock Mega Pidgeot in Mega Raids.

For the following week event which starts Friday, September 11 at 8:00 a.m. to Thursday, September 17 at 10:00 p.m. local time. Fans will have to use their Mega-Evolved Pokémon in Gym battles, Team GO Rocket battles, and Trainer Battles. If any of the players end up winning 275 million of these battles before the events end globally, they will have unlocked the Mega Hounfoom in Mega Raids.

For the final week which will between Tuesday, September 22 from 8:00 a.m. to Monday, September 28 at 10:00 p.m. local time. Players can become buddies with their Mega-Evolved Pokémon and spend time with them. To get a better experience, fans can take snapshots with their buddy and share it with others on social media by using the #GOsnapshot.

On the official Pokémon GO website, they stated, “During this time, Pokémon that are large in size will be appearing more often in the wild and in raids. Mega Evolve your buddy and give it a treat to have them appear on the map for comparison! Can you guess which one is taller: Furret or Mega Charizard X? We will also be releasing Times Research at the end of September to usher in the spooky season.

As it is shown September will be a busy month for many Pokémon GO holders, they will be able to experience once again the biggest event happening for the Pokémon GO platform. Pokémon GO Mega September Event is out now!
