Playstation Plus June Lineup Announced

Who doesn’t love getting gifts?

Every month Sony looks to reward the loyalty of their consumer/members of their Playstation Plus _

“What is Playstation Plus?” You may be asking. Good question–let us illuminate!

PlayStation Plus is the online service which gives free games and discounts and keeps on giving to the loyal Playstation fans. The way it works is simple, you pay for either a 90 day subscription for $17.99 (£11.99 in the UK), or a full year subscription for $49.99 (£39.99 in the UK).

And while there continues to be no such thing as a free lunch, Sony does go out of its way to serve up its fair share of delicious games for PS Plus fans to devour. The current June addition to the lineup continues to be no disappointment in the streak of fantastic offerings of free games to play.

For the Playstation 4–Sony’s ultimate dream machine at this point in the gaming season, with the console sporting the most exclusive/anticipated games of the season–PlayStation Plus is offering two very different but celebrated games for free consumption and play!

Up first is Gone Home, the brainchild of Portland, Oregon-based developers at Fullbright Company (the same team that brought us the Minerva Room in Bioshock 2), is the first person, explorative, experience of Kaitlin, who arrives home after college/exploring Europe to find her home abandoned. Where are her parents? Where is her kid sister? She has to explore the eerily empty house, interact with objects, and listen to cleverly hidden tapes/read letters in order to find out. The game originally was released in the spring of 2015, and has since been made available for the PS4, Xbox One, and PC. The game has been praised for its compelling story and well paced methods of exploration, as well as indie acclaim.

Meanwhile, the second game offered for PS4 requires little introduction: NBA 2K16.
This well-received game (a 9/10 from IGN) is a basketball simulation game developed on part of the almost effortless effort of devs at Visual Concepts, and published by long-time titan publishers at 2K Sports. It is the 17th installment–as hefty claim to ANY gaming series, by no little means–in the NBA 2K franchise and the successor (duh) to NBA 2K15.

And don’t worry, PS3 and PS Vita fans, Sony would never leave you out in the cold:

PS3:

  • Siren: Blood Curse (Episode 1-12)
  • Echochrome

PS Vita:

  • God of War: Chains of Olympus
  • Little Deviants

If you are a Playstation Plus member, enjoy all your free games this month!
