Today, WarnerMedia announced that its direct-to-consumer streaming offering HBO Max is now available to use on PlayStation 5. It features over 10,000 hours of curated premium content with the greatest array of storytelling from HBO, Warner Bros., DC, Cartoon Network, Adult Swim, Turner Classic Movies, and much more. HBO Max is also available on PlayStation 4. Now, PS5 users can look forward to watching Wonder Woman 1984 when it releases on HBO Max and theatres across the country on Christmas Day.
The month of December also brings in the exclusive holiday special My Gift: A Christmas Special from Carrie Underwood, a new Euphoria special episode with Emmy-winner Zendaya, Steven Soderbergh’s new comedy film Let Them All Talk, the third season of Summer Camp Island, and the four-part docuseries Heaven’s Gate: The Cult of Cults. Films premiering on HBO Max in December include The Shawshank Redemption, The Photograph, Sex and the City, Sex and the City 2, Gladiator, Meet Me in St. Louis and Demolition Man. Coming in January will be the second Euphoria special episode, Search Party season four, a new season of Selena + Chef, the entire Gossip Girl library, the first season of Snowpiercer, The Alienist: Angel of Darkness, and King of Staten Island.
Wonder Woman 1984 won’t be the only big movie that’s coming to both HBO Max and theatres. Warner Bros. announced that they will be releasing their entire 2021 slate of movies to the streaming service and theatres on the same day as well. Warner Bros. 2021 lineup includes The Suicide Squad, Dune, In The Heights, Judas and the Black Messiah, Tom & Jerry, Godzilla vs. Kong, The Many Saints of Newark, The Conjuring: The Devil Made Me Do It, Malignant, Those Who Wish Me Dead, King Richard, Space Jam 2: New Legacy, The Little Things, Mortal Kombat, and The Matrix 4.
