The online psychological horror co-op game Phasmophobia is back with a revamped version of their 13 Willow Street map. Phasmophobia was developed and published by Kinetic Games, and came out in 2020 (2024 for consoles). The 13 Willow Street had not gone through a major update since release, aside from minor big fixes, until recently.
The update launched on July 21, 2026, promising new assets, props, and a “full visual overhaul.” The development team at Kintetic Games explains that while “the original layout remains,” “some rooms have been repurposed and the flow of several rooms has been edited to improve gameplay.”
The 13 Willow Street update features changes specifically designed for PC players, in addition to different changes for console players. For PC players, the ability to “switch Equipment with the 1, 2, 3 and 4 keys.” has become available. The 1, 2, 3, and 4 keys are also capable of rebounding. Console work mainly appears to prioritize VR (Virtual Reality) experience, including “new character animations,” “Improvements to the belt to improve usability,” and a more responsive input system where “the character will now turn instantly depending on where you are looking instead of at set angles.”
Phasmophobia’s most recent update has dozens of general additions in store for fans as well. The changes, outlined below are quoted verbatim from Phasmophobia’s official website.

This update will be free to all Phasmophobia players who already own the game, and does not appear to be optional. The trailer begins as a parody of a real estate infomercial, boasting a “renovated basement” and “currently empty swimming pool” in between various electrical shorts and static.
