Persona fans rejoice! Over the past few days, Atlus has been teasing an announcement about Persona 5 Royal. Now, they have revealed the updated and enhanced version of the 2017 hit Persona 5 finally has a Western release date. The game came out in Japan back in October and is now slated to come West on March 31, 2020 which is just under four months away.

Along with the reveal of the Western release date for Persona 5 Royal, two special physical editions were announced for the game that are currently available to preorder. The first is the special Phantom Thieves Edition of the game. This Edition comes with an actual Joker mask, a Collector’s box, a limited Steelbook case, an Art Book, the game’s soundtrack, and a Dynamic PS4 Theme. The Phantom Thieves Edition will cost fans $89.99 USD.
The second edition of the game is titled the Launch Edition. This edition of the game will just come the limited steelbook case and a Dynamic PS4 Theme. The Launch Edition of the game costs $59.99 USD. There are also two exclusive digital editions of the game that come with a special PS4 theme when preordered. The first, the Ultimate Edition, will include the game all DLC and 6 additional costume packs and will cost $99.99 USD. The other, the Deluxe Edition, will come with the game and the Persona 5 Royal Kasumi Costume Bundle and will cost players $69.99 USD.
It was also revealed that Persona 5 Royal players will receive all the DLC for the original Persona 5 for free. Recently, it was revealed the the protagonists from Persona 3 and Persona 4 can be fought in the game thanks to an upcoming DLC package. It was also revealed that all the additional content being added to Persona 5 Royal will make it bigger than the enhanced edition of Persona 4; Persona 4 Golden.
