PC System Requirements Revealed For Halo 5: Forge

With Halo 5: Forge coming out on September 8th 343 Industries has finally released the list of system requirements needed for the game. Halo 5: Forge will allow PC players to create epic maps and play custom games. They also plan to release Halo app that will act as a hub for Windows 10 users.

On the Halo website 343 Industries laid out a pretty demanding system requirement saying, “One of the foremost questions we’ve seen has been on the topic of performance specs for this new Halo experience. Today, we’re excited to share the Halo 5: Forge System Requirements in order to help you prepare for the game’s upcoming launch”. Here is the full list for minimum, recommended, as well as for 4K:

Minimum Requirements 

  • OS- Windows 10 Anniversary Edition, version 1607 or later
  • DirectX- DirectX 12
  • CPU- Intel Core i5 at 2.3 Ghz or AMD equivalent
  • GPU- GeForce 650 Ti
  • VRAM- 2GB
  • RAM- 8GB
  • HDD- 40GB

Recommended (1080p at 60 frames per second)

  • OS- Windows 10 Anniversary Edition, version 1607 or later
  • DirectX- DirectX 12
  • CPU- Intel Core i5-3570k at 3.4 Ghz or AMD equivalent
  • GPU- GeForce 970
  • VRAM- 4GB
  • RAM- 12GB
  • HDD- 40GB

Ultra (4K at 60 frames per second)

  • OS- Windows 10 Anniversary Edition, version 1607 or later
  • DirectX- DirectX 12
  • CPU- Intel Core i7-4770k at 3.4 Ghz or AMD equivalent
  • GPU- GeForce 980 Ti
  • VRAM- 6GB
  • RAM- 16GB
  • HDD- 40GB

Alongside the system requirement news, 343 Industries also talked about the Anvil’s Legacy content set to release on Halo 5: Guardians on September 8th as well. The DLC will include a new Arena map, Warzone map, and new weapon and weapon attachments.
