It’s summer, so it’s one of the biggest times of the year for gamers, as various shows showcase the future of gaming with world premieres and trailers. And for today’s show, we have the PC Gaming Show, where we got to see various games coming to PC via Steam. Strap in, as there’s a lot to recap, and, as mentioned before, all these games can be seen on Steam.
Wielders of the Essence
Wielders of the Essence is a base-building horde survival game where you take on the role of a frog and build towns and bases and survive the onslaught of enemy hordes, using magical spells and powers to fend off the enemies. The game currently has a demo out on Steam with a release date of November 5, 2026.
Spellsided
Spellsided, the dice builder RPG by Mass Transfer Interactive. You play a magical die and can customize it with a multitude of game-changing spells and upgrades as you explore the world, taking on various obstacles and puzzles. Build your die to your liking and maximize its efficiency in this dice builder. There is no official release date yet, but a demo is available on Steam if it piques your fancy.
Star Trek: Outposts Unknown
We get our first look at the newest game in the Star Trek franchise, Star Trek: Outposts Unknown. The game is being developed by Magic Fuel Games. And in it, you will lead your crew to all-new worlds in this narrative-driven outpost builder, so travel the universe, discover new planets, build bases, and face off with mysterious cosmic forces that threaten your allies. There is no official release date yet, but a demo is available on Steam for you to try.
Warhammer 40,000: Darktide – Skitarii Class
We get a look at the upcoming DLC for Warhammer 40,000 Darktide, and it’s a whole new class, the Skitarii Class. So, if you think flesh is weak, then this class is just right for you, as you can find glory in the machine god. The release date is June 23,206 and you can wishlist now on Steam.
Hack ’95
Hack ’95 makes its world premiere, developed by Village Studio. In this game, you will be brought back to 1995 and traverse the infancy of the internet in this card-based computer hacking voyage. Take on evil tech startups and shadowy government agencies and become a god of the freaks and geeks in cyberspace. All with the help of an incontinent virtual pug. There is no release date yet, but a demo is out on Steam.
Control Resonant
We got an exclusive trailer and developer interview for Control Resonant, the next game in the Control universe. Developed by Remedy Studios, explore warped Manhattan as Dylan Faden as he fights for his humanity and our survival against a reality-bending cosmic threat. The game is set for release on September 24, 2026, and you can pre-order now.
Remothered: Red Nun’s Legacy
We got our first look at the gameplay of Remothered: Red Nun’s Legacy, and let me tell you, it’s quite horrifying as a pregnant nun chases you down. Remothered: Red Nun’s Legacy is the third and final installment of the Remothered series trilogy. It’s a classic survival horror game, and in it, you explore an abandoned villa and unravel the past of the Red Nun. The game is set for 2026 and can be wishlist’d on Steam.
P.O.N
Have you ever wanted to be a criminal in a superhero world… No? Can’t say I blame you. Whether you wanted to or not, P.O.N. is a criminal simulator where you take on the role of a criminal and attempt to survive. It’s a co-op first-person horror experience, and you are being hunted by a superhero in the dark, which seems very familiar if you ask me. So if you think you can brave the darkness alone or with friends, the game is set for release in Q2 2027, and you can wishlist it on Steam now.
Vampire: The Masquerade- Eternal Whispers
It’s a big year for Vampire: The Masquerade fans, as we just got a world premiere of the next title in the franchise. It’s a narrative-driven CRPG set in a dark-modern Montreal consumed by political intrigue. There is no official release date yet, but you can wishlist it on Steam.
Beast of Reincarnation
An interesting developer interview was shown for Beast of Reincarnation, developed by Game Freak. The game follows the themes of nature and decay. The game is set for August 3, 2026, and you can pre-order now on Steam.
Wardens of Avalon
The world premiere of Wardens of Avalon was showcased. Restore the former glory of the corrupt Camelot, it’s an action RPG set in a dark Arthurian world. You’re a new member of the Twilight Knights and will explore, craft, gear up, and go against the fallen knights of the Round Table. No official release date, only a window of 2027, but you can sign up for the playtest on Steam now.
SlashZero
SlashZero is a side-scrolling action roguelike game. You will take on the role of a Timehacker and travel across timelines and explore a cyberpunk world. You will take on the Lord of the Void and save the world and find the truth of it all. No official release date, but you can playtest the game on Steam now.
Thief: The Dark Project Remastered
Nightdive is back, and they bring us their next title, and it’s the remastering of the classic stealth game, Thief. The Thief Remaster looks to stay true to the original, just brought back to the modern age. There is no official release date yet, but you can wishlist it on Steam.
Signet City
We got the reveal of Citizen Sleeper’s next game, Signet City. It’s a first-person fungalpunk RPG where you play as a parasite in a city where strange technologies and radical ideas are taking root. Infect and grow into the citizens, uncover and change their stories, and witness what Signet City has to show. No release date, but you can wishlist on Steam now.
Time Strike
Control all the combat in your own way with Time Strike, a single-player FPS that gives you maximum control. Stop time and dodge bullets, set up headshots, and destroy environments and enemies. You can wishlist on Steam. The release date is coming soon.
Wind Runners
As a lone pilot, you will take flight and fight for freedom in this high-speed bullet-hell dogfighting roguelite. Wind Runners will have you face ruthless technotheist Realm, take on fleets and colossal bosses, and have your battles ignite the rebellion across the star system. The planned release date is September 23, 2026, with a demo available on Steam right now.
Outward 2
Outward 2 open beta is here. The game is a challenging action RPG with survival elements, focusing on a grounded experience. It has an early access release date of July 7, 2026, and you can playtest now on Steam.
Maximum Thunderness
Maximum Thunderness is honestly hype. It’s a roguelike, sidescrolling co-op action game where you take on a space alien invasion with different skills and abilities. The game is developed by Berzerk Studio and is set for a 2026 release, with a demo available now on Steam for you to try.
Empulse
Empluse might be the successor to Titanfall, as it’s a fast-paced 6v6 movement shooter. Pilot mechs, wall run, grapple, hollojump, and P.A.I.N.T. your way through Freehold’s vertical streets. Either outmaneuver your opponent or fall victim to being outgunned. Empulse is set for a planned release on June 24, 2026, and you can wishlist it on Steam now.
ReVamp
