On May 25, 2026, Paralives released for early access. It is a sandbox simulation game, featuring an open-world, vibrant townsfolk to befriend, and a story for players to create. Paralives is known as a potential rival to the EA’s well-known Sims franchise.

The game features a build mode with flexible wall placement tools, including curved walls at any angle. There are optional grids for wall placement, a color wheel for everything, split-level platforms, and much more. The development team plans on releasing newer build features during early access. This include pools, advanced roof and stair tools, window and door placement on curved walls, and lake/pond tools. There will also be new furniture and objects added to the game.

According to the teams development plan, players will also be able to create pets in the Paramaker and use advanced tools to edit Para genetics. Other customization features such as clothing items, hairstyles, and accessories will continue to be added during early access.

For the Live Mode, future updates plan to add weather and seasons to the game. Paralives will also feature a calendar, family tree, story progression for NPCs, and additional skills. Dogs, casts, and horses are also planned to be added into the early access version.

Paralives Studios reported on June 24, 2026 that the game reached 1 million copies sold. The previous week also had an average of 80,000 daily players. To celebrate their milestone, the studio did a Paralives Giveaway, offering 10 Steam keys. Winners were drawn on June 26th and could be entered by participating in the studios Instagram, Facebook, and X accounts.

Currently, Paralives is having a special promotion offer that ends July 9th. The promotion offers a 20% discount. There are also three bundle choices for prospective players to choose from on Steam. The first bundle includes Paralives and Unpacking. In the second bundle, players can get both Paralives and House Flipper 2. The final bundle contains Paralives and Aloft.
