Paralives Enters Early Access And Sells 250,000 Its First Day

Paralives entered early access yesterday, May 25th. Since entering early access, the game has received multiple positive and glowing reviews, a keen reflection of this is the game’s Steam review section where it sits as “Very Positive.”

To celebrate its release, Paralives released a Launch Trailer that showcases more gameplay elements. Inside homes, parapeople can eat or trash food, there’s also a lot of customization options as the Launch trailer shows the types of noses, mouths, body and clothes options which seem to be a lot. The game shows more of the previously teased work and upgrade abilities and the creative build and adjustment of furniture elements that allow many shapes and sizes of walls and furniture.

They also showcase the card dialogue; there are percentages on red cards, but none on the white cards. When the red card is chosen, it spins and if it doesn’t land on the green part, the action fails, leaving some actions up to chance.  There’s also a friendship element, which was completely hidden in the trailer, though it shows a trio laughing with each other, it seems curious viewers will have to try out the game to test out friendship parameters by themselves. There also seems to be a plant development ability, parapeople can go into debt, the famous ability to set the stove on fire when cooking, going to the gym, game “bugs” and more.

With so many components and many options, it comes to no surprise that Paralives has seen much success on the first day of release. To the point that Paralives sold 250,000 in the first 8 hours of release, the team shared this success in a Steam News Announcement. The developers shared:

we truly can’t believe how lucky we are! thank you to everyone who supported us (●’◡’●)ノ❤︎

With such support and achievements in the first few days, it’s easy to see Paralives growing further in the future, especially since Paralives’ team has many plans for their complete 1.0. Players can enjoy the Early Access release for “About 2 years,” as the team noted on Steam that the timeline may change. The devs also discussed the difference between Early Access and the full Paralives game, with a lot of updates such as “pets,” “a town creation tool” and more. The current Paralives price will also be raised periodically to fit the game’s added “content” level before its “full release,” however, Paralives fans can look forward to absolutely “free updates” upon release!
