Today, developers and publishers Pocketpair have released a brand new trailer for their new crossplay update for Palworld, making the game available on all platforms like PlayStation 5, Xbox One and Xbox X/S and Series S, and on PC through Steam. Players can now officially play together when using these different platforms.
Not only did Pocketpair release the crossplay update, there are also new features that were added such as a new Photo Mode, a Drafting Table, the Global Palbox that lets players store Pal data and transfer Pals between worlds, and also players will now be able to equip armor cosmetically using the Antique Dresser and change their character’s appearance, and it won’t affect armor stats.
According to the Steam page, Palworld is an open world action game where players can live alongside mysterious creatures called Pals, or they can fight off a syndicate. Pals can also be used in combat against enemies and can also be used to work in farms or factories to use their skills to make fire or generate electricity. Players can sell or eat them, and Pals can also be mounted and be used for traveling across land, sea, and sky.
With the Pals by the player’s side, they can be used in combat in different and dangerous arenas, and Pals are even willing to sacrifice themselves for the player’s sake. Players will also be able to breed the Pals and it will the skills and characteristics of their parents. Lastly, players will be able to catch endangered Pals.
Multiplayer is also available for Palworld, so players are able to invite their friends and go on adventures with them. Players can also battle against their friends and also trade Pals with them as well. In an online co-op game mode, only 4 players can play together, whereas there is also another dedicated server can allow up to 32 players to play together.
