Palworld developer Pocketpair has announced a new joint venture with Sony Music Entertainment Japan (SME) and Aniplex. According to the late Tuesday announcement, Pocketpair announced the creation of Palworld Entertainment, a new joint venture centered around the domestic and international licensing for Pocket Pair’s 2024 game Palworld. A website was also revealed.
The company’s will help to promote and expand Palworld across the world and it’s new developments.

Based on Tokyo, Japan, Sony Music Entertainment is a holding company for the Sony Music Group. According to the website, among other things, SME is responsible for managing the entire group.
Similar to SME, Aniplex is a Tokyo-based company centered around media development. Specifically, Aniplex is known for audio and video production, primarily in the animation and video game fields. Additionally, Aniplex is also involved in planning products, licensing, sales and performances.
Currently, future developments from Palworld Entertainment are still unknown, but will likely be revealed in the coming weeks and months.
Palworld is an open-world action-adventure, survival, and monster-taming game. Initially released January 2024, players can battle, capture and tame creatures known as Pals as they traverse a strange and colorful world.
Players can play Palworld on the Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, NVIDIA GeForce Now, and PC via Steam.
