Developer and slot machine manufacturer Gamblit Gambling is now creating a competitive Pac-Man game for casinos. It will be dubbed Pac-Man Battle Casino and will be a full multiplayer machine. The company confirmed via a Twitter post that they are indeed working with Bandai Namco to complete the project.
YES! It’s true! We are working with Bandai Namco to bring PAC-MAN to casino floors for real-money gaming! https://t.co/4QK22k0GKj

There will be a demo unit available for the game next week at the Global Gaming Expo in Las Vegas. Pac-Man Battle Casino seems to be based off of Pac-Man Battle Royale which is a four player version of the classic game that was released in 2011. In this version two to four players will place their bets before the game will start. The winner of the game will then get to take a spin on the prize wheel so the payouts will be based on luck more than amounts that are wagered. The platform for the game will be the Gamblit Model G which includes many features such as a touchscreen, purse hooks, cup holders and a USB charging port.
Gamblit Gaming seems to be focused on the task of attracting younger consumers but feel like video games would be the perfect solution. While they are working with Bandai Namco on this specific project, Gamblit Gaming themselves claims to be “the leading publisher for real-money and skill-based gaming for land based casinos.” Pac-Man Battle Casino will be available sometime in 2018 as well as other machines based on games such as Cut the Rope, and Road Redemption the spiritual successor to Road Rage.
