Whether you’ve been living under a rock for the past few years, contracted a case of cowboy fever with Red Dead Redemption 2, fighting off radiation sickness in the new Fallout 76, or are anxiously awaiting the upcoming Spider-Man DLC “Turf Wars” launching November 20, it might be time to give Overwatch another look. If you’re one of the few left who has not experienced the thrill of a Deadeye multi-kill or sent the new hero Ashe‘s bodyguard, B.O.B., into the thralls of battle, now is your chance. Overwatch will be running another free trial, beginning November 20, and it’s their longest one yet.
Play Overwatch FREE Nov 20 – 26 on PC, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One!
— Overwatch (@OverwatchEU) November 15, 2018
From November 20 through November 26, Overwatch will be completely free to play on PC, PS4 and Xbox One. According to the official news blast by Blizzard, all 29 heroes will be available to play, including the newest hero, Ashe. Players will also have access to all 19 maps within game modes in the Arcade as well as Quick Play and Custom Games. Don’t feel like you’re missing out either, as free players will be able to level up, unlock customization options for the heroes, and even receive loot boxes during the free trial. Players who elect to purchase the game after the free trial will retain all progress and unlocks, provided they use the same Blizzard, PlayStation, or Xbox Live account they used to download the trial.
Limited time Ashe sprays will also be available during the free trial. Simply link your Blizzard account to your Twitch account and watch up to two hours of Overwatch streams during the length of the trial period and receive three Ashe themed sprays. With the trial falling right within Thanksgiving, there will be plenty of time for turkey and a healthy dose of Overwatch to boot (though you may find yourself skipping out on Black Friday).
The Overwatch free trial runs from November 20 to November 26 and will be available on PC, PS4, and Xbox One. For more details on how to access the free trial on each system, visit the Overwatch blog.
