It has been announced at Xbox & Bethesda Showcase that Overwatch 2, the sequel to the 2016 first-person shooter of the same name, will have an early access release this October! “This is the beginning of an always-on and always-evolving era for the franchise, and a recommitment to serving players with frequent and substantial updates planned well into the future to keep Overwatch 2 fresh and fun for many years to come” president of Blizzard Entertainment Mike Ybarra mentioned in a statement.
Along with the major character and gameplay updates, Overwatch 2 will introduce a new tank hero to the lineup known as the Junker Queen. Making her entrance near the end of the trailer, Junker Queen reveals herself as the ruthless leader of the Junkers ready for battle. “Did you really think this would be a fair fight?”
