Blizzard Entertainment and Hasbro unveiled a new trailer for their collaboration with Overwatch 2 on Monday. The popular online multiplayer shooter game is getting a surprise collaboration with the Transformers franchise. This is the latest in a number of high profile collaborations, including One Punch Man, Cowboy Bebop and Porche, since the games launch in 2022.
The event was initially teased back in June alongside Overwatch 2 season 11’s launch and followed by a lore comic. That said, this latest update included a thrilling animated trailer that showcased Megatron and friends engaging in a fierce and flashy battle against Megatron, the leader of the Deceoticons.
Players can experience the upcoming event and it’s upcoming four Transformers skins starting tomorrow, July 9th.
The four Overwatch 2 characters getting these new skins inside Bastion as Bumblebee, Illari as Arcee, Reinhardt as Optimus Prime and Ramattra as Megatron.
