Natural order as you know it has been disrupted, and humans now stare in awe as plants stand atop the food chain. As one of the initial explorers of the newly discovered plant empire, you must defeat the overlords, and attempt to bring equilibrium back to the forefront.
Juicy Realm is a roguelike action-adventure that has you squaring off against various ravenous fruit enemies. In an effort to bring the plant domination down, you must come to understand how the imbalance came about, and what the most conducive way of stopping it may be. Players must delve deep in the planet empire lair and defeat all the plants you encounter while collecting new gear, resources, and weapons. Expanding your base camp is key to forming a substantial coalition, and doesn’t stop at supplies. If you’re feeling overwhelmed by the plant frenzy, you can invite a few friends to hop in and discover some secrets that may work in your favor during co-op. The randomized zones and treasures hidden throughout the world emulate roguelike elements, and the unique art-style offers a vibrant, cartoon-like feel to the adventure.
The massive leap in evolutionary development sprung up on humans as a complete surprise. Plants began to manifest arms and legs before becoming entirely self-aware as an entire species soon after. The development that should have taken millions of years to accomplish is still a mystery to the world, and one that is equally as puzzling as it is dangerous. The reasoning will begin to unfold as the fighting subsides, but until then, it’s probably best to use fire.
