Override: Mech City Brawl Adds Third DLC And New Mech

The third DLC has come to the outrageous and crazy robot-mech fighting game, Override: Mech City Brawl. This DLC brings the third extra character to the roster, Bellona. She is described as a Roman goddess of war and her specializations involve keeping her enemies at a distance because of her precise aim. Though she does come “equipped with special attacks that make use of piercing blades, a war shield, and an Ultimate that involves god-like lightning-based strikes.” The developers at The Balance and Modus Games have released a trailer that gives a view into Bellona and her background:

For those that are unaware, Override: Mech City Brawl was originally released in December of 2018. It introduces around fifteen character (including the DLC) “mechs” that each have unique abilities and weapons to combat opponents, along with satisfying finishers when players are victorious. These mechs battle each other in real life, 3D arena models of real-world locations from around the globe. Some of the locations available now include San Francisco, Mexico, Tokyo, and Egypt, all of which are destructible environments. Check out some of the insane battles that can unfold:

Cooperative play with friends is a unique and hectic experience. Two to four friends can team up in a mech and fell like they are a Power Ranger of sorts, each player being responsible for one part of the mech. Battles can take place in the single-player story, a local co-op game or competitively online versus players around the world. A new feature that was recently added and discussed in a post by the developers now puts a new mechanic into matches. Halfway through a game, a Charge Zone will appear where a mech’s special ability will build faster if they make it to the zone for ten seconds if it is uncontested. Each of the mechs is fully customizable in the game’s Garage where all sorts of cosmetics like skins and accessories can be applied to deck out mechs.

Override: Mech City Brawl is available on the Steam Store, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One.
