Indie developer Loren Lemcke teams up with UK indie publisher Mastertronic to bring the top-down retro style shoot-’em-up game, Over 9,000 Zombies! Be prepared to stock up your gun shells and fight the swarms of the undead that are coming to Steam Early Access this July.
In Over 9000 Zombies! the zombie apocalypse has come and you must kill them to survive. The AI enemies are powered by Zombie Swarm Intelligence, “a mathematical system to generate massive hordes”, in order to experience some insane zombie killing action.”You will never be without something to shoot in this game.” Choose your weapon, build a fortified base equipped with a automatic turret, and blast past the massive hordes as you survive as long as possible. The music that are incorporated in the game are by Clearside Music, in order feel the intense rising throughout the killings of the zombie hordes.
Over 9000 Zombies! will feature an array of zombie killing weapons, and have an option for you to run and gun it, allowing you to travel from place to place and shoot the zombies down, or to fortify a base and defend it from the hordes outside. You can play by yourself in this zombie horde killing game or you can play co-op multiplayer mode, and bring your friend to be by your side in this zombie apocalypse and help each other survive as long as you both can. Plus there may be a possibility later on to add more than 2 people to help you fight off the hordes of zombies.
