With Forza 3 coming out soon, the first game in the series is going to be taken off the shelves soon. According to GameSpot, Forza “will reach its “end of life” status on October 20. At this time, the game and all of its DLC will no longer be available to purchase. If you already own Forza Horizon and/or its DLC, or buy it before October 20, nothing will change. The game and DLC will remain playable.” So if you want to try to get the game for $20 or even a cheaper price on Xbox 360 before it gets taken out of sales get it before October 20th.
As for Forza 3, if you own the $100 ultimate edition you can start to play now rather than waiting for the official release date on September 27th. Forza also utilizes high dynamic range like NBA 2K17 and will be Microsoft’s first game to use this range. However, you do not have to have the ultimate edition in order to play the game. There is a free demo available to play for Xbox One and will be available for PC after the release date. However, the PC preloading is apparently having issues.
If you are a fan of racing games, then Forza Horizon 3 is the game for you. The graphics and dynamics within the game are great. The game is an open world game with a map that is approximately 2 times bigger than the last installment. The game also features the Microsoft play anywhere program allowing you to buy the game for Xbox One while receiving a PC copy. Therefore for the price of one you could basically have two copies of the game.
