For those who’ve been waiting to get their hands on the Oculus Rift can now do so when pre-orders open up this week January 6th at 8am Pacific Time, as announced by Oculus this morning.
Still not revealed was the asking price for the VR headset though the company has commented in the past that it will be in the “ballpark” of $350.
Those who pre-order the Oculus Rift will receive a free copy of Eve: Valkyrie alongside the game Lucky’s Tale which is bundled with every Rift.
Also happening on Wednesday, Oculus founder Palmer Luckey will be participating in a Reddit Ask Me Anything session at 6pm Pacific.
Oculus promises further updates to come during the week and how this will be an “exciting week for VR”. The 2016 Consumer Electronics Show begins in week in Las Vegas where VR is expected to have a major presence. We will be updating this story as more news breaks.
