No Man’s Sky PC Version 3 Day Delayed

With No Man’s Sky coming out for PS4 in the next few days, the hype has been crazy for it. However, there has been some confusion as to when the PC version will be released for the game. So earlier today, the developers at Hello Games spoke out saying that the PC version will be released three days after the PS4 version. While this is not the best news since it will not be released at the same time of the PS4 one it is at lest being released soon after rather than weeks or months.

Although the game was expected to be released at the same time for both consoles, the developers thought it would be best to take the time to work on the PC version of the game since “it’s so important we get it right and make the best version we can.” So the short delay is justified and is good to hear that they want to make the PC version the best that it can be. This three day break could also allow them to identify any issues that arise from the initial PS4 release and allow them to have a patch out and ready by the time the PC version is released.

Ever since the game went gold in July, Hello Games has been working on a patch for the release of the game. Within the patch they will be adding in some new features, eliminating bugs, and adding in some new content. It is good to hear that the company is already putting in a lot of effort to add more content and features before the game has even been released. Expect No Man’s Sky for PS4 on August 9th, and for PC on August 12th.
