Nintendo to Pursue More Pokemon Games

Nintendo’s next Pokemon game will feature Pikachu as a Detective’s sidekick.

Nintendo is currently working on a new Pokemon game for the 3DS to be released in 2015. According to reports from a Japanese TV interview, the game will feature a version of Pikachu as a villain as well as a sidekick of the same variety. Concerns have risen in reaction to the idea of a evil-Pikachu amongst fans of the series.

This all comes to fruition on the backend of a release of a new technology that presents characters that will react to user’s facial expressions. This technology was featured through a presentation of a Pikachu reacting to a player’s interactions.

With the few screenshots that were provided, fans were given images of a character with a magnifying glass navigating a room and searching for clues. In tow, the main character has a Pikachu along his side. Where this new game fits into the Pokemon mythos is unknown at this point, but it’s nice to see Nintendo is continuing to pursue one of their largest franchisesm.
