Nintendo To Launch Physical Store In San Francisco

Nintendo has announced plans for another physical store. According to its Friday announcement the company is looking towards opening a Nintendo store in San Francisco, California some time in 2025.

Once the store opens, Nintendo San Francisco would be the fifth official Nintendo Store in the entire world. The other stores include Nintendo New York, Nintendo Osaka, Nintendo Tokyo and Nintendo Kyoto.

Nintendo New York was the first-ever Nintendo Store to open in North America in 2005. This will be the second-ever store location in the United States.

The upcoming Nintendo Store is set to open within Union Square in the iconic Californian city. Nintendo stores have been a great way for fans to buy to buy games, merchandise and apparel directly from the company.

Other Nintendo stores do exist but mainly in exist certain theme parks like Super Nintendo World at Universal Studios Hollywood.

This is the latest effort from Nintendo to brand outside of the gaming sphere to reach a more mainstream audience. The store’s upcoming opening coincides with other upcoming events happening with the company including the impending release of the Nintendo Switch 2 and the Orlando Florida Super Nintendo World theme park in 2025.

That said, the exact details of the San Francisco store are still unknown.
