Following the announcement of Nintendo Switch 2, the price reveal, and the Trump administration’s tariffs, which delayed pre-orders for Switch 2, many have been wondering what’s going to happen with the launch and pricing of the console. Well, today, they have answered those questions. Nintendo has announced that Nintendo Switch 2 pre-orders will begin on April 24, 2025, with the same retail pricing as was revealed, $449.99. They did announce that they are making price adjustments to Nintendo Switch 2 accessories.

In addition, the pricing will remain the same for the Nintendo Switch 2 + Mario Kart World bundle at $499.99, and both the physical and digital versions of Mario Kart World ($79.99) and Donkey Kong Bananza ($69.99).

“However,  Nintendo Switch 2 accessories will experience price adjustments from those announced on April 2 due to changes in market conditions,” Nintendo noted. “Other adjustments to the price of any Nintendo product are also possible in the future depending on market conditions.”
