An opportunity to get an early hands-on preview of the next Princess Peach game has arrived. Nintendo released a demo for Princess Peach: Showtime! Wednesday evening, alongside a new overview trailer for the game.
According to the press release, this free demo will slow players to try out a variety of Princess Peach’s newest transformations representing plays at the Sparkle Theater including the speedy Swordfighter Peach, the sweet Patissiere Peach, and Detective Peach. Additionally, the games overview trailer revealed showcased new transformations like Cowgirl Peach, Mermaid Peach and Thief Peach.
Additionally, players can earn rewards from completing a Rehearsal, a timed event to clear a waves of enemies or collect a number of jewels, after every floor. Earning a high enough rank unlocks rewards that can customize Peach and Stella’s outfits.
All of these transformations will help players guide the Princess and Sparkle Theater’s guardian spirit Stella as they race to save the theater from the evil Grape and the Sour Bunch.
Princess Peach: Showtime! releases on March 22, 2024. As the second game in the Mario franchise to feature Princess Peach as the protagonist, hopefully, Nintendo will take this opportunity to continue the many additions this game has added to Princess Peach’s character.
