Nintendo has shed more light on their plans for E3, as well as released some new artwork for the highly-anticipated next entry in The Legend of Zelda franchise:
The new art sees Link sticking to the blue outfit he’s been seen wearing in previous promotional material.
In addition, Nintendo has outlined some more plans for how it intends to promote the game – plans which start today with a Twitter campaign surrounding the new title. If the tweet reaches a certain number of retweets, users of Nintendo’s mobile app, Miitomo, will receive a free Zelda themed wig for their avatar:
Nintendo is also planning a sale for some of their biggest titles on the Nintendo eShop. The sale will begin on June 14, and looks end on June 21. “Starting at 11 a.m. PT until 8:59 a.m. PT on June 21,” reads the release on BusinessWire:
Nintendo is offering discounts on some of its most popular games as a special treat for fans. My Nintendo members who are signed in will also get a special bonus if they buy select games included in the sale. Anyone who hasn’t signed up for My Nintendo yet is encouraged to do so now to avoid the E3 rush.
Nintendo’s real E3 show will begin on June 14 at 9:00 a.m. PT, where fans will get their first look at gameplay footage from The Legend of Zelda, as well as some more information on Pokémon Sun and Pokémon Moon.
