Nintendo Minute Concludes Its Eight Year Run As Final Episode Releases Today

Nintendo announced via Twitter that their web series, Nintendo Minute, will be coming to an end today after the show’s eight-year run on YouTube. Following Nintendo’s announcement, the last and final Nintendo Minute episode was released on Nintendo’s official YouTube account, concluding the show’s end.

Nintendo Minute is an online web series that gave Nintendo fans an insight into the world of Nintendo. The show was hosted and created by Kit Ellis and Krysta Yang, better known on Nintendo Minute as Kit & Krysta, who also work at Nintendo of America. Despite its name, the episodes on Nintendo Minute are longer than minute and cover a plethora of Nintendo-related topics, with the exception of only one episode that was actually one minute long. Additionally, the show has released roughly over 400 episodes weekly on Fridays throughout the show’s eight years on YouTube. A quick look into the Nintendo Minute playlist on YouTube shows that the web series does not strictly follow a specific pattern, where episodes vary from Kit and Krysta showcasing gameplays for different Nintendo games, providing information regarding new Nintendo products and official collaborations, or participating in creative Nintendo-related challenges.

However, what made Nintendo Minute so unique and loved by fans was the enthusiasm and personality that Kit and Krysta gave in each episode. No matter the episode’s topic, Kit and Krysta gave it their all as they had fun together or with guests, making the show even more enjoyable for fans at home. Many fans will miss seeing them together for Nintendo Minute but wish them both the best in future endeavors. Regarding the show’s conclusion, both Kit and Krysta have also expressed their gratitude for fans and their time on the show on their respective Twitter accounts.

Despite the end of the Nintendo Minute era, the show’s success proves that more Nintendo web shows could hopefully be expected in the future.
