Nintendo Indie World Showcase August 2025: Neverway, Mina The Hollwer Release Date, Glaciered, & More

Shortly after the lastest Partner Showcase, Nintendo announced the next Indie World Showcase. Here’s a rundown of everything that was revealed.


New footage was revealed for Mina the Hollwer which is set to launch on October 31, 2025. A demo for the game is available today.

Well Dweller has players star in the role of Glimmer, a tiny bird armed with a matchstick who takes on the wicked queen to save his family. Players will journey  into a whimsical but morbid fairy tale landscape of charming characters and dangerous foes, collecting trinkets to upgrade abilities, battling terrifying beasts, solving puzzles, and discovering secrets that will unravel the mysteries that lie in this rotted kingdom as Glimmer forges a path to reunite with his siblings. The game is set to launch in 2026.

Neverway is a new nightmarish life sim RPG,  co-directed by the pixel artist from Celeste, with music by Disasterpeace.  The game stars Fiona who quits her job and starts over on a farm and becomes the immortal herald of a dead deity. Players will fight in fast-paced combat as they explore this post-apocalyptic world filled with dangerous creatures and charming characters to befriend, romance or deceive. Farm, fish and cook as you rebuild your life. Neverway launches in 2026.

Herdling, the new adventure from  Okomotive, the creators of the atmospheric and acclaimed FAR games, and Panic, publishers of Firewatch, comes an emotional journey of survival, companionship and trust where players head out on a grand alpine expedition with a herd of loveable beasts known as Calicorns, as they ascend a mountain path, encounter eerie dangers and surprising obstacles, and forge their way to the mystery at the summit. The game is coming to Nintendo Switch later this month on August 21.

Is This Seat Taken? is a new puzzle game where players have to organize where characters sit whether  it’s the cinema, a crowded bus, a wedding reception or a cramped taxicab, every setting introduces new characters with specific tastes to account for. The game launches as a timed exclusive on Nintendo Switch today.

Little Kitty, Big City is getting a free content update featuring new characters, new hats, new abilities, new photo mode options, and new customization options to the main game. The update will launch later this year.

Content Warning has players trying to go big or go home as they explore the monster-filled depths of the Old World  with the goal of trying to film enough scary stuff to become famous. Every run takes place across three days and the more frightening footage you capture, the more you’ll go viral. The game will make its way to both the Nintendo Switch 2 and Nintendo Switch in 2026.

BALL X PIT is a new brick-breaking, ball-fusing, base-building survival roguelite where players will batter hordes of enemies with ricocheting balls. Throughout the game, players can expand their homestead, generate resources, and recruit unique heroes to aid in their perilous quest for riches. BALL X PIT launches onto Nintendo Switch on October 15 and will come to Nintendo Switch 2 later this Fall.

Ultimate Sheep Raccon is the spiritual successor to the wild party platformer Ultimate Chicken Horse. Players will add obstacles, ramps, and dangerous traps as they try to make their way to the finish line before their friends. Players can choose from returning critters like Chicken, Horse, Sheep and Raccoon, or meet a new crew of barnyard buddies, and engage in races for up to eight players locally and online. Players can also build their own levels and share them online and put together custom playlists. Ultimate Sheep Raccoon launches on Nintendo Switch 2 and Nintendo Switch this Winter.

Glaciered has players assume the role of Tuai who will explore a mysterious underwater world and fight ferocious marine creatures with real-time, dynamic combat. The game is set 65 million years in the future where the Everwinter transformed the planet’s surface into a gigantic sheet of ice and a new species prospers in this age of glacier-covered seas. Players will unleash the power of the Tuai’s avian and dinosaur bloodlines to protect this strange, new Ice Age. Glaciered launches on Nintendo Switch 2 as a timed exclusive this Winter.

Winter Burrow launches onto Nintendo Switch this Holiday. It’s a survival game about a mouse returning home to restore their childhood burrow, knit warm sweaters, bake pies and more.

Undusted: Letters from the Past has players uncover a touching family past as they restore various objects to their pristine condition. It launches on Nintendo Switch in October.

Tiny Bookshop is a cozy management game where players’ll set up a second-hand book shop scenic locations while getting to know the locals. The game is available now.

Caves of Qud is a 2D turn-based roguelike set a biologically diverse world where players must survive the deeply simulated world of sentient plants and mutant kindred. The game launches  for Nintendo Switch as a system exclusive this Winter.

Strange Antiquities gas players become the caretaker of a store dealing in occult antiquities in this sequel to Strange Horticulture. The game launches on Nintendo Switch on September 17.

OPUS: PRISM PEAK is a narrative photo adventure game where players meet an enigmatic girl in a mysterious dreamlike world and must uncover hidden truths through the viewfinder of their camera. The game launches as a timed exclusive for Nintendo Switch 2 and Nintendo Switch this Fall.

Go-Go-Town! puts players in the shoes of the mayor, tasked with building, fixing and transforming a rundown tourist town into a bustling and functional city. The game will launch Spring 2026 as a timed console exclusive for Nintendo Switch.

UFO 50 is a ccollection of 50 single player and multiplayer games that span a variety of genres – from platformers and shoot ’em ups to puzzle games, roguelites and more. The game is available today on Nintendo Switch as a timed platform exclusive.
