Today indie developer Hermit Games and publisher 2P Games has moved their new game Nigate Tale into early access. The game is available for download on Steam and is expected to stay in the early access stage for the next six to twelve months. Nigate Tale is a roguelike dungeon crawler drawing inspiration from isekai fantasy stories common in anime.
In Nigate Tale you play as Roy an engineer, who after being sucked up by a cloud, must explore a strange castle in order to find the components to fix his ship. Roy is also caught in a time loop so that every time you die in the game you are sent back to the beginning of the castle. Along the way, players will also encounter a wide variety of helpful monster girls that will provide new magical powers, and will fight by your side if you provide them the right gifts.
The game features dozens of weapons and types of magic, as well as multiple skill trees that can be leveled up, in order to tailor your character to your play style. By defeating enemies in the castle, players will accumulate resources in order to craft new equipment, as well as special items to give to the monster girls.
Nigate Tale is now in early access and is available for download on Steam. The game is currently available for $19.99. Those who buy the game before April 18 will receive a 15% discount. A final release date should be announced later down the line.
