NHL 23 is set to officially release on October 14, and the game has already announced that preorders are live. Some exciting changes are coming to the game this year, including cross-play between Xbox and PlayStation players, as well as additional bonuses for players who choose to preorder the game. Although there are only two versions of the game, each will include a group of bonuses to incentivize players to buy early.
The first edition of the game will be the NHL 23 Standard Edition, which will cost $60. Players that choose to preorder the standard edition will receive an X-Factor Women HUT Choice Pack (1 of 4), 5 World of Chel X-Factor Zone Ability Unlocks, and a signed Sarah Nurse World of Chel Jersey. Additionally, players will receive a Be a Pro X-Factor Shot Unlocks, XP Boost, and Bonus Trait Points. These rewards could incentivize a lot of players on the fence about preorders to choose to buy the game early.
The next edition available is the NHL 23 X-Factor Edition, which will come at a price point of $100. While this may seem like a large increase, preorders of the game will also make a significant jump in the bonuses that are rewarded. Those who preorder the X-Factor edition will receive all the same rewards as the standard, but with some additions. Players will also get 3 day early access to the game, 4,600 NHL points, a HUT X-Factor Player Choice Pack, and a HUT X-Factor Power-Up Start Pack. As a whole, the X-Factor Edition takes a significant jump in what is offered in comparison to the standard edition of the game.
Although NHL 23 will not be available for those who play on PC, the game is still expected to be successful due to various new additions to the game. Preorders are already live and the game will officially release for all players on October 14.
