New Xbox Partner Preview Coming Coming Later This Week

Today, Xbox has announced its next Partner Preview set for Thursday, October 17. They’ve said that the Preview will feature a mix of new and upcoming games. This includes a first look at gameplay for The Lake House, the next expansion for Alan Wake II, a new trailer for Like a Dragon: Pirate Yakuza in Hawaii, the first official look at the dark-fantasy action game Wuchang: Fallen Fathers, world premieres, and other great titles coming to Xbox consoles, Game Pass, and Windows PC.

Alan Wake II: The Lake House was initially revealed last month during the latest State of Play. It’s the game’s second expansion following Night Springs. In The Lake House, reckless experiments have caused reality to collide with the Dark Place.

Like a Dragon: Pirate Yakuza in Hawaii picks up following the events of Infinite Wealth where fan-favorite Goro Majima ends up washed ashore on a desert island amid the scattered remnants of a shipwreck. Waking up unable to remember even his own name, Majima meets a boy named Noah who saved his life. Along with Noah’s help, Majima travels across the vast ocean in search of clues to piece together his lost identity. Eventually, they get caught up in a conflict between cutthroat criminals, modern-day pirates and other scoundrels over a legendary treasure.

Wuchang: Fallen Feathers is an upcoming action RPG that was revealed during the Xbox Games Showcase this year. The game is set in the land of Shu during the dark and tumultuous late Ming Dynasty, plagued with warring factions and a mysterious illness spawning monstrous creatures. Players take on the role of Wuchang, a skilled pirate warrior struck by amnesia, who must navigate the uncertainties of her mysterious past while afflicted by the horrific Feathering disease.

“As always, Xbox Partner Preview is all about sharing exciting games news from our talented partners across the globe,” the official press release said. “You’ll get new game reveals, release date announcements, and fresh new gameplay from upcoming games. And to sweeten the deal, during the broadcast, Xbox Wire will post exclusive behind-the-scenes stories about select titles shown.

The Xbox Partner Preview is set to broadcast on Thursday, October 17, at 10 am PT and will last around 25 minutes.
