New Trailer For Upcoming First Game From New Indie Developer IceCrack Games

Sil and the Fading World is an upcoming action role-playing game developed by Ice Crack Games as their first game. A third person action rpg, Sil and the Fading World presents players with branching optimization paths that best serve their playstyle.

Beginning with three starting classes, all of these branch into three advanced classes for more optimization, an example in the trailer being Warrior’s ability to specialize as a Crimson Knight, Dragonblood, or Juggernaut, all having different focuses within the warrior skill set. Players will have nine specialization classes in total to choose from.

On top of the game also more ways to customize the player’s build. First is heirloom and legendary items, which are found as loot across the game, with over 110 different pieces to mix and match, it all comes down to how someone wants to play. Then to incentivize defeating strong and enemies and bosses, the game also has a mechanic where soul crystals are imbued with the power of defeated enemies and bosses.

All together Sil and the Fading World is an action rpg designed for fans of action games. Those seeking to continuously refine their builds as they reach end-game content. The world of Aritas culminates in raid style dungeons for players to brave for those final upgrade materials to take their builds to the peak of performance.

The team behind this single-player action rpg is actually quite small, four people at Ice Crack Games. Co-founders Burim and Bardh Dervishaj serve as game developers, while Anna Tabalan is the studio’s concept artist, and Renzo Solorzano is the VFX artist. This will be their first game, and as such whatever comes from Sil and the Fading World will be what defines Ice Crack games.

The game is currently available to wishlist on Steam, but has no official release date yet. There is Discord available via the game website.
