Birth is a point and click puzzle game around the idea of living in a completely new city. Being in a new city can cause a lot of loneliness, which is why the game is based upon literally making a new friend. Players must travel around the city and collect different parts to create an animal best friend. Players will rarely do anything more than once and can do just about anything they please since the game comes without any instructions.
These parts are collected from many different areas of the city, including other people’s houses, post offices, museums, cafes, and more. These locations will also have creatures who live or work there. Players will quickly get to know the creatures while exploring the city and looking through their belongings.
As you look through these parts of the city, different puzzles will unlock parts of your new friend. When discussing the different puzzles, Karrh said “some are physics based, some are pattern based, some are abstract.” In addition to puzzles unlocking parts, there will also be secret tokens laying around the city for players to find. These tokens will allow players to unlock secret buildings and treasures throughout the game.
Although there is not an official release date, Karrh has confirmed that Birth will be coming out sometime this August. Fans of games involving should take a loot at Birth as it could be a thought provoking and fun game for those who enjoy puzzles!
