While the current release schedule for Nintendo is small, fans can expect to see more glimpses of Detective Pikachu Returns, Super Mario Bros. Wonder, WarioWare: Move It, and the Super Mario RPG remake. However, considering the length of the presentation, it’s likely that Nintendo could announce more up titles to bulk up it’s Winter catalogue.
Some leakers have alleged that Nintendo could revive some of their older franchises, specifically F-Zero whose latest title, F-Zero Climax, released in 2004. Others have wondered whether Nintendo’s next direct might announce something bigger, like the Nintendo Switch ‘s rumored successor console.
Multiple reports in the past months have alleged that the Nintendo Switch 2 is gearing for launch, with some saying that the console was revealed to developers at GamesCom 2023. Regardless, like with every leak and rumor, nothing has been confirmed.
Nintendo fans can check out the upcoming September Direct tomorrow at 7 AM PT/10 AM EST on the official Nintendo YouTube channel. Nintendo’s last lengthy direct aired back in June 2023.
