Earlier today, Square Enix released another trailer and a lot of extra content for the upcoming title in the third-person action RPG game series NieR. The new video of NieR Replicant ver.1.22474487139… developed by Toylogic is a remastered version as well as a remake of the original NieR Replicant. The new video showed several exciting features and content that will be included in the game. The game will be released on April 23.
The first NieR Replicant was released in April 2010 for the PS3 and Xbox 360. However, those who played the game on the Xbox 360 version may know the game as NieR Gestalt which featured an older main character to attract western audiences. Depending on which version, players play as a young boy or man to defeat monsters and protect their sister or daughter Yonah. However, after more than 100 years, Yonah becomes terminally ill and players must embark on a journey to find a cure to save Yonah. For the updated version of the game, Square Enix is hopeful that the new game will be something both new players will enjoy and fans of the series will love. They recently said, “The updated version of the game will not only become more accessible for modern audiences with fully remastered visuals, a re-recorded soundtrack, and all-new voice dialogue, but will also include brand-new story content, extra dungeons, and costumes, including multiple NieR: Automata themed costumes & weapons, the NieR: Automata playable soundtrack, and more.”
The improved audio and video will recreate an incredible experience for everyone, and with new a story and boss battle, and more dungeons, those who played the original title will still have even more reasons to pick up an updated version of the game.
