New Mass Effect: Andromeda Trailer Features 4K HDR Gameplay and Interviews

With Mass Effects release date under a week away, Nvidia has released a video that shows off some of its 4K capabilities along with a small discussion with the games developers about what was involved with the development of the game.

The key bit of information to take from the video is the fact that Mass Effect: Andromeda was created through the use of Nvidia Technology on a Frostbite engine. What this means in simpler terms is that the developers put two powerhouse pieces of tech together to create a masterpiece.

The trailer shows some fairly impressive 4K gameplay with amazing depth of colors and shades that really bring the game to life. Obviously the Nvidia 4K will be meant for PC users. For those unaware, Nvidia is one of the top entities amongst the PC gaming community with their high performance gaming and non gaming processors. Take a look at the video below if you have a 4K screen, or if not, watch it in 1080p, it still looks beautiful in both.

The BioWare developers made it clear in the video that the world they created could not have been created without the 4K opportunities. In the previous games they were unable to capture the environment details in such clarity that is now available due to new technologies. This allowed the graphics to catch up to the superb story Mass Effect has always offered.

In other Mass Effect Andromeda news, Gamespot reported that early access players have been a little dissatisfied with the quality of the facial features in the game. BioWare has announced that in the day 1 patch there will be no updates made to address these concerns.

Get ready, because the March 21st release date is right around the corner.
