Immortal: Unchained presents its sci-fi horror trailer, and the story behind the game is hauntingly intense. Not only this, but “Immortal is the first hardcore shooter for the Action-RPG genre.”
The game introduces a protagonist who is destined to travel to the center of the universe. Traveling there will conclude three things for the protagonist: “Who are you? Why are the nine worlds ending? And what are you going to do about it?”
The trailer tells of the birth of the universe: in the beginning there was light, and from that light the great monolith revealed itself. As the new stars and planets turned into life, the first children of the universe were born, but they were destined to battle over dominion. Total domination would only be achieved by obtaining the monolith and the power that comes with it.
During a gameplay trailer released in February this year, fans were able to witness the brutal and strategic combat against the undead, the various settings and their elements, and what it would be like to play a first-person shooter in an RPG. Players will even have the versatile options to switch from a gun to a pair of vicious dual blades. With the deadly weapons, players are tasked with the duty of slaying the powerful undead robotic souls and formidable beasts within the different realms. This is all to achieve one goal: fulfilling the prophecy of stopping the nine worlds from ending.
On the Steam page for Immortal: Unchained, the page goes into deeper depths as to what to expect of the game. As the re-awoken deliverer of the prophecy, players will be able to customize their weapons to defeat the colossal bosses throughout their adventure. However, fans will not be able to save the nine worlds until September 7, 2018. Immortal will only be playable for PC and will be available for download through Steam.
