A new leak has revealed that for their 10th anniversary, Bayonetta and Vanquish, two very popular titles from PlatniumGames, will be getting remasters. There are three versions that gamers could buy. They can buy each game separately or together with the Bayonetta & Vanquish 10th Anniversary Bundle. The information was listed on the Microsoft Store with an apparent release date of February 18, 2020.
The description from the Microsoft Store reads:
Commemorate the 10th anniversary of PlatinumGames’ two most celebrated titles with the Bayonetta & Vanquish remastered dual-pack. 4k graphics available at 60 frames per second on Xbox One X.
Experience the genesis of the Bayonetta series with the original action-adventure. Take advantage of Bayonetta’s arsenal of skills to hack, slash, and open fire upon hordes of celestial foes.
Play as space solider Gideon in the hit sci-fi shooter, Vanquish. Equipped with BLADE, the experimental weapon system that can scan and copy existing weapons, he must infiltrate conquered space colony Providence and defeat legions of future-tech enemies.
In Bayonetta, you play as an Umbra Witch, who after a long slumber, discovers the truth about her past. Along her journey, she has to tackle enemies from Heaven and Hell. In typical PlatniumGames fashion, the action is very stylish as Bayonetta can utilize a variety of over-the-top moves with the ability to slow down time and summon demons to take out her enemies. This is the first game in a trilogy with Bayonetta 3 announced at The Game Awards 2017. Last year, Bayonetta and Bayonetta 2 were released on the Nintendo Switch in anticipation for the upcoming sequel.
In Vanquish, PlatniumGames tried to change up the cover-based shooter having players with a special suit that can slow time down. The suit also allowed players to dart around the battlefield and keep on the move in order to deal with enemies.
