Developed by From Software and published by Activision, the battle-filled game Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice recently came out with a new launch trailer and this one displays some gruesome scenes. The trailer shows a great deal of action as the protagonist battles with skillful enemies and fierce bosses. Activision also put out a post on their Twitter page about the new launch trailer.

Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice is set in the late 1500s in Sengoku Japan, where players fight face to face with dark and twisted foes in a world where death is constant. A disgraced and disfigured warrior is rescued from the brink of death and bound to protect a young lord who is a descendant from an ancient bloodline. As the protector of the young lord, Sekiro becomes the target of many dangerous enemies including the nefarious Ashina clan. When the young lord is captured, Sekiro stops at nothing and proceeds on a treacherous journey to regain his honor and bring back his benefactor.
The trailer starts off with a fight as a large bull type creature with a log strapped to its head and fire coming from both ends hunts Sekiro. As he fights fiercely to defeat it, the bull charges at Sekiro forcefully, and he disperses into feathers engulfed in a black cloud and reappears, turning the bull into his prey. The trailer proceeds to shows Sekiro fighting more of the human enemies as he battles with unwavering strength and acrobatic counter attacks.
Towards the end of the trailer, Sekiro, or better known as The Wolf, is shown decapitating a yeti like creature during a fierce battle. Unlike the main characters From Software’s Souls-bourne games, The Wolf will actually have a voice in the game, making his story similar to a Japanese drama. Minibosses and bosses will be difficult to defeat, as the players will need to come up with strategies to defeat them instead of constant slashing and dodging.
The game will not have an online multiplayer option, however. Since it lacks that feature, they will include a pause function in the upcoming title. If gamers are into gore and action packed battles they should feel right at home with this game.
Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice will be accessible on Xbox One, PS4 and PC on March 22. The required PC specifications are low, so you won’t need any high-end machine to run it. The game has two editions and both are available now for pre-order.
