New Hood: Outlaws & Legends Character Class And Map Spotlight Gameplay Footage Released

In anticipation of the upcoming multiplayer heist game Hood: Outlaws & Legends developed by Sumo Digital, the game’s publisher Focus Home Interactive has been releasing various gameplay footage of the four different classes in the game as well as map highlights. Set in medieval times, players must race against a rivaling team as well as in-game enemies to complete a heist. The Robin Hood-inspired character classes will have unique battle mechanics and skillsets, so teams will have to strategize and plan in order to get the coveted treasure held by a tyrannical king. The latest videos included the last class The Mystic as well as gameplay footage of the Graveyard map where players will work to loot a church built upon old graves and tombs.

In the PvPvE heist game, you and your team will choose a specific class. There are four character classes–Ranger, Hunter, Brawler, and Mystic–from which players can choose to steal treasure and help the needy. The Ranger class focuses on long-range fighting styles using a longbow and being stealthy to target enemies from far away. The Ranger can also fire explosive arrows and use flashbangs to daze and confuse. Oppositely, the Brawler class emphasizes close-range combat overpowering enemies with a sledgehammer and his wrath ability. The Hunter relies upon her elusiveness and crossbow to evade and kill quickly, while the Mystic depends upon trickery to locate hostiles on the map and deploys poisonous bombs to deter them.

The game will be available on Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, PS4, Ps5, and PC via Steam and Epic Games Store. The release date is set for May 10, 2021, and is now available to pre-order. Those who pre-order any edition of the game also get three-day early access. For more information or to pre-order the game, check out the Hood: Outlaws & Legends official website.
