Gotham Knights has a release date of October 25, 2022, for PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X|S, and PC. The game was originally revealed during the DC Fandome event back in 2020. The game was originally slated to come out in 2021 but it got delayed to 2022. A new story trailer was released during DC Fandome 2021 but not much has been revealed about the game since its reveal. It looks like that’s about to change. The official Gotham Knights Twitter account tweeted out that a new mission update from the Belfry will be released tomorrow at 6 am PT. It will feature Nightwing and Red Hood and may share more information about what we can expect from the game.

In Gotham Knights, “Batman is dead. A new expansive, criminal underworld has swept the streets of Gotham City. It’s now up to the Batman Family; Batgirl, Nightwing, Red Hood, and Robin; to protect Gotham, bring hope to its citizens, discipline to its cops, and fear to its criminals. From solving mysteries that connect the darkest chapters in the city’s history to defeating notorious villains in epic confrontations, you must evolve into the new Dark Knight and save the streets from descent into chaos.” Players will be able to play as one of the members of the Batman Family and patrol Gotham’s five distinct boroughs in solo-play or with one other hero in the most dynamic and interactive Gotham City yet.
Today, a new PSN listing may have revealed that the game may support 4-player co-op. Following these reports, developer WB Montreal has confirmed that Gotham Knights will only have two-player co-op. However, they don’t rule out the possibility of a new multiplayer mode for four players.
Whether or not there are extra game modes coming to Gotham Knights is something we’ll have to wait and see following tomorrow’s mission briefing.
