Atlas Fallen takes players to a dystopian sand world that was once ruled by gods. The sand and ruins tell the story of the old. Atlas Fallen is being developed by Deck 13 and published by Focus Entertainment. Heroes once stood with the gods, however, the gods later cast away humanity. They destroyed their world and left it in ruin. Only stories of the old times lay within the ruins. In this action-adventure game, players will take the role of a hunter who despite being left behind by gods, must now face powerful creatures in order to survive on the sand-filled land. Powers are manifested through the sand and this power creates weapons. A new gameplay trailer has been published, showcasing the battle system for the game.
In the trailer, a god narrates the video alerting those who hear it that those who’ve faced it before only found ruin. God-like creatures are the enemies of this world. This fast paced battle system will have players swinging in for technical moves. The hunters possess superhuman strength and speed. Through the power of the sand, various weapons and abilities manifest. A powerful whip weapon is created when it is infused with the sand. It slashes and warps around goes foes and has a wide area of attack. Elemental abilities are also manifested. The power of fire and ice are unleashed on foes. With aerial combos, a chillin ice attack will halt the movement of enemies and pierce them to the bone with damage.
You will also be able to create weapons made of ice with this ability as well. With the power of fire, it is infused with the axe weapon making it capable of blasting your way through large foes. With the power of the sand, hunters will stand up against the Gods who continue to scorn mankind. Atlas Fallen is slated to be released on May 16, 2023, for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC.
