New Free To Play ‘Ghost in The Shell’ Game Begins Beta

According to N4G, the FTP first person shooter Ghost in the Shell: Stand Alone Complex, First Assault has started its open beta phase. Along with the beta laugh a new update for First Assault was added. In this new  “Ghost Assault Mode” players are tasked with survival against cyborgs. Survival is ensured by using the cyberskills in strategic ways.

Another addition in the update was a new character Kuro. This operative was created only for First Assult and to bridge the gap from the anime series to the manga. It expands upon the story and offers its own unique personal backdrop for the character Kuro, from his early days to now.

The gameplay is team based as is the case with most FPS games. Players will take up the mantle of an operative based in section 9, which from the anime and manga is the task force who use cyberspace to guard the interests of their citizens and keep the world safe. There is a wide variety of ways to utilize skills from hacking to shooting that will offer players a refreshing game setting.

The developers of the game are looking to widen the scope of their audience and attract new players to this game by initiating a publicly open beta. Game developer Nepole wants to continue the fresh content and continue to wow players with new features and strong play.

Players in certain regions can now check out this game online using a PC.
